Wellllllll, this one was a fail for me. Together Galen and Rose will search for a way to break the curse that forces the princesses to dance at the midnight balls. But this was a fairy tale that I'm not very familiar with – The Twelve Dancing Princesses. Princes from neighboring kingdoms seeking the hand of the princesses die by various. I mean, fairy tale retellings, yay I love those! That might be why I liked Princess of the Midnight Ball the most--because it's more classic, and yet still gives a good feel for what the book is about. Galen is a young soldier returning from war; Rose is one of twelve princesses condemned to dance each night for the King Under Stone. Ratings Explanation Violence: War has just ended.
